This isn’t just a rock.
It’s THE rock. Hear me out…

I found it last October and instantly fell in love with its natural cow print (seriously—God out here designing with whimsy). It became one of those little random joys that made me smile every time I saw it on my walks or even just thought about it.

Then winter came… the water rose… and the rock disappeared. I figured it was gone; swept away by the current never to be seen again.

But the other night? There it was. Still spotted. Still here. Still bringing a ridiculous amount of joy. Don’t believe me, ask my husband how big my smile got when I spotted it!

It might sound silly, but it was a sweet reminder:
Some things get buried for a season… but that doesn’t mean they’re gone.
Some joy just waits patiently to be rediscovered.

Some days, the noise is loud, the to-do list is long, and the inner critic has way too much to say.

Philippians 4:8 says to think about what’s true, noble, right, lovely, and praiseworthy. And while it’s not always easy to live with positive intention, moments like this help. A gentle nudge to shift our gaze from the chaos to the beauty. To choose the good. To fix our minds not on what’s broken, but on what is still worth celebrating.

A kind word.
A deep breath.
A cow printed rock.

These are the things worth thinking about.
The things that ground me when the rest feels like chaos.

So today, I challenge you to see the good.
To celebrate what’s still lovely.
To let joy rise in the small moments.
